Very Happy With Precision Tech Jun 4, 2025

I thought I was having an issue with my breaker box and called Jason, who had an electrician out to my house very quickly, maybe a half hour. The electrician diagnosed the problem straight away and called for one of their air conditioning technicians to come out to look at the condenser. The tech was here an hour later, fixed the problem quickly, and my AC was up and running again! Very happy with Precision Tech, especially their quick response. They turned what I thought was going to be a bigger problem into a minor problem that was an inexpensive fix. Highly recommended!

They Were a Life Saver Jun 8, 2022

On 5/31/2022 my AC lines were cut off by a contractor working in the complex. It was the hottest day on record, 99+ degrees and very humid. I contacted Precision Tech right away, and they had someone here within an hour to check the system and found that the lines had been severed and all the coolant escaped from the system. I called my property management company, and they worked directly with Precision Tech to have the system repaired. It wasn't going to be the same day due to the holiday weekend, so Precision Tech gave me 2 portable AC units to use (no charge) until the work could be started, which was scheduled for 6/5/2022, Monday. What a life saver!! The techs arrived right on time and worked throughout the day until everything was working perfectly. They were professional in every way!! They ran new lines for the whole unit, which included electrical and the coolant lines (2). They installed a beautiful outside covering that the lines ran through straight to the utility room where everything had to be connected (SUPER JOB), VERY CLEAN AND NEATLY DONE!!!! They and their work was extremely professional!!! They did a great job all around. I couldn't be happier. They were a life saver!! On a scale of 1–10 the techs and company were/are a 20+ in my book. I had a timer for my exterior house lights that was failing after 35 years. I called to see if Precision Tech could replace the timer. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and courteous and even made a change to my original appointment, so they could come the same day I called. Precision Tech Home Services came recommended by the condo association—and for good reason. Their quote was about 40% lower than others, and they handled all permits and paperwork, completing the work within a week. I initially didn’t realize they also do plumbing, which cost me time with other companies giving incorrect info. I had wiring and an outlet installed for an electric range. Jimmy went above and beyond, installing a cover plate on a wall opening and capping wires unrelated to range installation. Precision came out to diagnose an issue with my AC unit blowing hot air. The technician found several installation issues that the prior companies missed. The technician walked me through everything he was doing, and it was the most thorough experience/troubleshoot I've ever seen. My AC unit is working properly with no issues. I ended up calling them out about 3 days later to look at my electrical panel (I was having issues with a couple of circuits tripping). The same customer service and the same thorough investigating happened with the electrical issue. At this point, I'll never use anyone else for anything in my home. I HIGHLY recommend Precision for all of their services. From the office conversations to the services they offer, it has always been nothing but exceptional service and great customer service with a reasonable, honest company. Thank you Precision!!

I trust and recommend Precision with all my home services needs. They installed my HVAC system and generator years ago, and it has worked flawlessly since. My maintenance plan with them covers me and ensures my system stays top-notch. My membership allows me discounts on anything not covered by warranty. I now am working out a project with them to redo my entire backyard and have a rough and final at one of my other properties I just approved. Pricing is fair, the ladies in the office are always pleasant, and the technicians are all great. I recently encountered a funny smell in my home, and they sent someone out right away to find an outlet with a short and charred-up wiring. They replaced it the same day with no issues. I'm so happy I found this family-owned company that hasn't been taken over by the call center corporate shenanigans that have been ruining the service industry. Whenever I previously shopped around for quotes, they have always been spot on and reasonable. I know what I'm getting as a customer with them. PTHS came out within a day to give an estimate and was able to come out the next day to do the work. Sylvester and Joe were sent to my house and did an OUTSTANDING job. They fixed the two dummy outlets, added additional outlets, and fixed splices in the junction boxes that were sparking from the prior electrician. They saved me a ton of aggravation and potential damage to my home. Their pricing was reasonable, and their team was extremely reliable and helpful in the situation we were dealing with. I highly recommend PTHS and will absolutely use them again in the future should any other need arise!!!!!

After Manalapan Fire Dept. came out and made sure there was no electrical fire risk, they recommended Precision, and Rus came out, took a quick look, assessed the problem and any other potential risks, and then resolved it quickly. Back in November 2022, Precision Tech was referred to us through Generac when we inquired about a home standby generator. They sent out Joann T., who completed an assessment on what size was needed, and she promptly supplied a complete estimate. We reached back out to them a few days later and inquired about upgrading our electric service prior to any generator installation. She came back with that estimate also and stated the work could be completed at the same time to minimize disruption. Both estimates were extremely reasonable. We wanted to wait until after the Christmas holidays to start the work, however. There was never any pressure to purchase, install, or start the job. Joann took care of obtaining all construction permits (zoning, plumbing, and electrical), saving us from dealing with the governmental bureaucracy. In early January 2023, we made the final arrangements, and electrician Emmett K. came with his team and spent the entire day not only changing out the electric service but also hooking up and testing the generator. They were neat, orderly, professional, and worked the entire day without taking any breaks in order to get the job done. Emmett came back the following day to make sure there were no issues and to label the panel for us. He also returned a week later, the day the town code officials were scheduled, and stayed to make sure the final approvals were granted. Everything passed without a hitch. I would highly recommend Precision Tech Home Services and their team for both plumbing (gas line installation) and electric service to family and friends.
